RELATIONSHIP
The two are childhood friends. When they were young, Seowoo often took care of and spoiled Taemin. It wasn’t long before they became close— to some, they even seemed inseparable. As high schoolers, the two are more awkward with one another. Their actions are more subtle when interacting, and are a bit ambiguous. They aren't a couple, but their feelings for one another are strong and complicated. Taemin harbors a one-sided crush towards Seowoo, but is unsure of his own feelings. For Taemin, he struggles between wanting to be spoiled by Seowoo and wanting to take care of her too. Their relationship is similar to a budding flower that has not bloomed yet.

ADOLESCENCE
Before reaching middle school, Seowoo’s family moves away from their home town. Unable to keep in touch as children, the two begin to live separate lives. For Seowoo, she remains focus and steadfast in her goals of becoming the “ideal daughter” for her family; and for Taemin, he takes on the task of trying to fill in the gaps that his, once, best friend left behind.
As they reach high school, with the permission of her parents, Seowoo returns back to their home town, but only for her final year. At first, Taemin and Seowoo are unable to connect with one another— tension remained awkward and uncomfortable. Taemin had become someone that he hoped Seowoo could rely on, but Seowoo returned to a place where she was uncertain what role she was supposed to play.
While they work on rekindling their lost relationship, there are many moments where things are not as seamless as they were in the past, but they make new, irreplaceable memories in the process. The year comes to an end, and once again, Seowoo disappears along with the winter snow.

ADULTHOOD
Shortly after high school, Taemin enlists in the military. After completing his required time, he enrolls in a university nearby Seowoo’s ballet academy. Not wanting to waste any more time, he does his best to reconnect with her. Although many years late, he’s able to acknowledge his own feelings and realizes that he wants to be a special person in Seowoo’s life.
Through Taemin’s efforts, their lives begin to entangle with one another… and before Seowoo realizes things have changed, it becomes natural for them to be by each other’s side again. Winter is filled with a new warmth, and Spring is overflowing with blossoming flowers.
Taemin spends the following years pursuing Seowoo, and it’s not until their late 20s, is he able to convince her to give their love a chance. Although uncertain about many things, Seowoo puts her faith in Taemin’s feelings, and the two start the next chapter in their lives together. This time, Taemin is determined to not let Seowoo slip out of his hands, and whether it’s because of fate or his own will, he’ll make the most of the opportunity given to him.
